Darrell Hoke, the founder of The Hoke Company, has been
in the construction industry for 30 years. He began
building custom homes in Connecticut in 1983, and built
homes in some of the finest neighborhoods.
The sunshine and brisk economy attracted Darrell and
his wife Monique to Charlotte in 1996. Once in Charlotte,
Darrell joined M/I Homes building their "Showcase
Homes" at "The Harbour" in Mooresville.
After two years with M/I Homes, Darrell accepted an
offer from Dienst Custom Homes to become Project Manager
for "The

| Point", an exclusive waterfront and golf course
community in Mooresville. While at Dienst, Darrell built
several multi-million dollar homes ranging in size from
3,000 sq. ft. to 14,000 sq. ft. , including the 2000 HomeArama
"Peoples Choice" award winner. |
In 2001, after three years at "The Point", Darrell
and his wife Monique decided to open The Hoke Company. Their
original goal for the company is the same today as it was
then - to own and operate a custom home building company with
a reputation for remarkable craftsmanship, outstanding professional
conduct, exceptional after sale service, and above all - an
enjoyable building experience.
Darrell runs the day to day operations of the company and
personally performs all field supervision. Monique is the
Marketing Director for the company and is invaluable for
her decorating flair and natural talent for color, graphic
design, and home feature presentation. Monique assists Darrell
with plan selection for spec homes and brings balance to
the company by projecting the female prospective for the
building process and the finished product.
The Hoke Company is a featured builder in two of Crescent Communities neighborhoods “NorthView Harbor” and "The Farms”, as well as in Joy’s Serenity Point in Cornelius. Darrell has also built homes in The Harbour, Pinnacle Shores, Mountain Island Lake and on loose lots throughout the area. The Hoke Company builds a limited number of distinguished
homes each year, focusing on personal involvement with each
customer throughout the building process. As a result, he
has gained their admiration, trust and loyalty.
Darrell has also cultivated friendships and long term relationships
within the community among the trades people, suppliers and
professionals with whom his company does business. He has
developed signature features and design characteristics in
his homes setting them apart from other homes. He utilizes
new technology blended with proven construction methods to
assure an enduring, comfortable, aesthically pleasing home
.
